Want To Learn Ho'oponopono?

Dear Reader,

It was about ten years ago when a lovely woman first mentioned the word Ho'oponopono to me. We were in a spiritual development class and she was the facilitator. The discussion was about healing a difficult relationship and how we can create harmony by using the statements, "I"m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you."

Of course, there is so much more to these statements than just saying them or repeating them. I mean, do you remember as a child when you did something to one of your siblings and your parents told you to apologize? And if you felt you didn't have anything to apologize for, you did the long, drawn out, eye roll with, "soooorrrrrryyyy". Of course, we all know it isn't a meaningful apology when it comes out like that. Now think about a time when you accidentally hurt someone and you truly felt horrible and apologized profusely. Do you get the difference?

Ho'oponopono works... when it comes from the heart. Ho'oponopono helps heal relationships, helps restore harmony in friendships and in family, helps reconcile wherever harm was caused. I have experienced first hand the power of this ancient act of love and forgiveness. If you want to give it a try, begin by standing in front of a mirror and repeating the statements as if it was your daily mantra.
