The good and bad of karma

Dear Reader,

The term "Mosaic Laws" have escaped many of us for years, oftentimes finding its way back into our life ONLY after having a significant negative experience or set of experiences. That was me. It took sickness to discover these laws, which I've come to know in a more profound way than ever before. These mosaic laws, are "Natural" laws of the universe. And, as happened to me a few years back, sickness is the impetus to the spiritual path back to these laws, or God, or the divine essence which is within us and permeates the universe.

Natural Laws, also called universal laws, cosmic laws... which are also laws of physics... are spoken of in the Bible and are likened to the mosaic law Moses spoke of.. So, one must ask, why is there a divide between science and religion if they both say the same thing, only using different language?

There are many "laws" spoken of in religious/sacred books as well as spoken of in the field of science. Among scientists, these laws are spoken of in terms of describing events that occur.

In physics, Sir Issac Newton explained his, "For every action, there is an opposite and equal reaction." For example, in EVERY interaction, there are two forces acting upon each other, and THOUGHT, along with spoken words, being measurable energy, returns like/equal energy. (Boy did I learn that one the hard way. Maybe read this paragraph again.)

Karma, for most individuals, is a negative event that occurs as consequence for something bad done. In essence, yes, this is true. Every thought, word, and deed is an "action" into our vibrational world and returns to its sender.

So... reciprocity, compensation, justice... karma.... good vs. bad. .... we merely receive that which we put out... whether this life or any other. As Jesus said, "the sin (mistake) of the forefather (before life) goes three and four generations.

Must it really take that long for us to remember... "We create our own happiness or unhappiness as we obey or disobey nature's physical and spiritual laws" (from the Principles of Spiritualism).

As you give, so shall you receive.

Do unto others as you would have done unto you.

Who were you BEFORE this physical body you are in today? What soul journey did you lead? What was occurring in our world 1,2,3 years before you were born? Were you doing good in the world or causing harm?

As you sow, so shall you reap.

**But here's the good news... an auntie in the Hawaiian Islands brought back the teachings of grace that were spoken of long long ago. But to use those teachings, you must understand their secret power and the key to using it correctly. So if your heart is in the right place, know this, the secret to grace and clearing up your past negative karma, it will come to you. So, until then, do some good in the world. Practice acts of kindness. Study the universal laws. Know that all that happens, is justice. Know that others who make mistakes, the violence you see in the world, will return to the sender. So... pray for them, that they may find their way to grace, forgiveness, and love. For then, we shall usher in heaven on earth for all.

As you help others, you will be helped.

What you withhold, will be withheld from you. It's law.... natural law.

Peace on earth... goodwill towards all.

With love,

Gail Lynn
