Got a bone to Bury?

October 17, 2023

Dear Reader,

There's no bones about it... our emotions affect our health. And THAT is part of the problem right now! Or rather, those of us telling the world about it is the problem for those corporations who don't want you to know, for those who have benefitted from people being sick. There are many who fear that you will know how to heal yourself... OR.... better yet...that you will know enough NOT to let events and circumstances in your life and in the world get under your skin, get you angry and spiteful and causing dis-ease in your body.

I learned first hand how emotions lead to sickness. I have first hand experience in how negative emotions cause dis-ease in the body. It was early in 2018 that fear and stress activated a mild heart attack. And it was in the summer of 2013 that spiteful words activated the law of karma to bring about my experience with Lyme disease. For four years, anger, guilt, and shame contributed to ongoing symptoms after vindictive words spewed forth from my mouth after a very hurtful breakup with my fiancé. Natural Laws, the Divine eternal law, explains it perfectly. In the realm of science, the principle of cause and effect also explains my experience. Sir Isaac Newton said it, "For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction"... Newton's third law of Motion. Yeah, I know, it seems to simple to be true... but... what can I say. The Golden Rule is very real, for that too is "law", part of Nature's laws.

SO... the short version... if you got a bone to pick with someone... do it from a place of compassion and forgiveness and letting go, rather than from a place of anger, revenge, or vindictiveness because... AS YOU SOW, SO SHALL YOU REAP.

What seeds are you planting with your emotions? Joy and serenity and forgiveness are higher vibrations that will keep your immune system functioning. better whereas emotions such as blame, despair, anxiety, and fear... condemnation, humiliation, and shame... all open the doorway to allow dis-ease into the body.

So... consider the world events and how you really want to react to these things. Are you going to let the news stations cause you to get angry or fall into despair or become vindictive or fearful? Or... can you offer the characters in the world some compassion as they battle their own inner fears and anger until they somehow come to learn NEGATIVE EMOTIONS CAUSE SICKNESS, cause bad relationships to perpetuate, cause poverty... and bad karma.... more bad experiences.

All food for thought... right? But I know where I stand... I'm ready to just chill out and let each person come to their understanding on these things. I've had enough sickness in my life. Personally, even in this war that some people have called a pandemic. I allowed my emotions get the best of me... I mean... naturally, anger arises when someone we love is harmed. But it's also part of our spiritual path to forgive those who are ignorant. As the words of Jesus were written, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do."

One last thought, looking at Dr. David Hawkins scale of consciousness, forgiveness empowers us, empowers our immune system. And since we are all on this journey to reach enlightenment, individually we must make that decision for our "self"... our soul growth. Am I ready to chill out and "let it be"? Perhaps you've had enough sickness too? Perhaps you've learned your lesson also?

As Paul McCartney and John Lennon wrote: "When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, LET IT BE. And in my hour of darkness, she is standing right in front of me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be, let it be.

Go find that song and listen to Mother Mary. And the next time you feel fear, anger, despair, or sadness about the events taking place in life... remember to bury that bone, that negative emotion, and let it be... go meditate instead. Repeat the words of Mother Mary over and over as a mantra, "let it be, let it be... "

Until next time, stay chill!

Forgive others and keep healthy!
