Dear Reader,
Life is full of metaphors. Looking at this photo of my daughter and her dogs in Alaska reminds me how each of those mountains in the distance are like the mountains of obstacles that we face throughout our life. Some obstacles are little hills, while others are huge mountains. AND it makes me think about all the times that I made a mountain out of a molehill. If only I had known better how to maneuver those challenges, I wouldn't have made a mountain out of them. So, if YOU have mountains of challenges you are facing right now, here are some of my best pieces of advice for overcoming them:
I learned from Dr. Wayne Dyer, in his book, "WISHES FULFILLED", how to have my wishes fulfilled and manifest a healthier, happier, life simply by talking about my "self" and my life better. I learned from him that in order to have better health, I need to speak better and think more positively. Instead of thinking "this won't work out for me", (instead of telling the universe to keep allowing nothing to work out for me), I began thinking, "It's going to work out!" As author Abraham Hicks says, "Things are ALWAYS working out for me!"
Another author I've read, Joel Osteen, has taught me to use declarations in my statements about my life. Through many metaphysical teachers in my world (Louise Hay, Wayne, Ester, Gregg Braden, and Paramahansa Yogananda's books), I have learned how using affirmations with the "I am" statement can have profound effects in our life.
Trust that the universe has your back and is moving you towards greater good in life. If you have faith and trust in the process, things WILL work out. It's only when we overreact that we mess things up and often times create karma when things don't go our way. Matthew 17:20 of Biblical teachings say, "Because you have so little faith, truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "move from here to there" and it will move. NOTHING is impossible for you." (NIV)
So... I declare... my life is getting better and better every day! I am happy, healthy, and financially prosperous! I am making a positive difference in people's lives showing them how to make positive changes. And just doing these three things will help you start to ....
TAKE BACK YOUR LIFE!
Until next time, climb high!!
