WHAT IS HYPNOSIS and why do it?

The Mayo Clinic defines hypnosis, also called hypnotherapy or hypnotic suggestion, as a trance-like state in which you have a heightened focus and concentration and you are usually calm and relaxed, and are more open to suggestions.

                                   ~

According to the Cleveland Clinic, hypnosis/hypnotherapy is a heightened state of concentration and focused attention guided by a trained, certified hypnotist/hypnotherapist, which allows you to be more open to suggestions to making healthful changes in your perceptions, sensations, emotions, memories, thoughts or behaviors.

Back in 1958, the American Medical Association recognized that hypnosis is a "useful technique in the treatment of certain illnesses and a valid medical procedure." Prior to that, in 1892, the British Medical Association was among the first professional organizations to investigate hypnotherapy as a potential treatment after the association released findings from a committee of nine doctors who had performed experiments involving hypnosis.

in 1961, the AMA's Council on Mental Health recommended that medical students and doctors complete 144 hours of hypnotherapy training.

The American Psychological Association has also endorsed hypnotherapy, confirming its effectiveness.

Hypnosis and the Law of Attraction

I learned about the Law of Attraction the hard way... which was NOT a fun way to learn... especially since I "attracted" some things into my life that weren't so pleasant. I didn't know about how our thoughts create things or that we create our life with our thoughts, words, and FEELINGS! I didn't know that whatever dominant thought that is repeating in our mind, with added emotions, becomes manifest in our life... or STAYS in our life.

The mind is quite powerful and knowing how it works can be of great assistance to you! Just as in hypnosis, the power of suggestions that we make to ourselves is of great importance. And people don't realize that we are always talking our life right into existence, and we talk to our self, telling our self either we are poor and lacking... OR prosperous and abundant. We speak about our good health or illness repeatedly, oftentimes keeping such things in our life!

Here's my not so pleasant example of how I used (UNKNOWINGLY) the Law of Attraction principles in attracting a mild heart attack in 2018.  Yes, that's right. And it began in 2017 when I went away to Hawaii to heal the Lyme dis-ease that I had been battling (since 2013). (Another Natural Law that I came to learn the hard way.) I really just wanted my life back. I was tired of being sick. Little did I know, that sickness was hanging around a lot longer than I needed simply because I kept reeling it in... thinking about it, talking about it, telling everyone, "I have this. I have this", continuously attracting more of it by constantly thinking about it and speaking about it. You know what they say, "if you want a different outcome, you have to tell a different story". Oh wait, but the mild heart attack.... so after coming back from Hawaii, I was constantly being picked on by my boss, or I felt like I was anyways, and I kept fearing "what is she going to do to me today?" Day and night, I was on edge waiting for the other shoe to fall, for her to show up at my desk and harass me and lo and behold, I kept that pattern going, by thinking about it, fearing it, feeling fear, and talking about it with a co-worker.

THOUGHTS ARE THINGS!! And a heightened state of emotion added to the thought brings in a quick manifestation of that which we are thinking. Over and over, I manifested more pop in visits to the point that I began having panic attacks and then the day came when the nurse at my job site said, "I think you're having a heart attack. You need to go to the hospital." Sure enough, elevated cardiac enzymes showed a mild heart attack.

Those little phrases I kept saying to myself, in my head, and to my friend, was the "suggestion" that kept bringing in more of just that kind of treatment...  and quantum physics has a great way of explaining how and why that happened!

People like Bob Proctor, Tony Robbins, Neale Donald Walsch, and Oprah Winfrey all know the power of The Law of Attraction and how putting suggestions and affirmations into our subconscious mind can be life altering! (TRUST me, I KNOW!)

Using POSITIVE affirmations, using positive suggestions that we come up with in the client interview for creating your life the way YOU want, is the perfect way for us to integrate hypnosis and the Law of Attraction to create the positive changes you want in your life! I help you utilize the power of hypnosis with the Law of Attraction to help you transform your life TODAY!  ARE YOU READY!!
